Sometimes good people say dumb things, and in those times it falls to other good people to call them out. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actors Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield seem like good people and a sweet couple -- they've been dating since 2011 -- but in a recent kids' Q&A to promote their upcoming movie, Garfield said a dumb, sexist thing. And co-star Stone coolly challenged him for it. You can watch the video right here.
Snipers, amirite? Every time you try to try to talk down some unstable smurf-looking dude with the power to blow up Times Square while wearing a luchador-like Spider suit, they think it's their place to intervene. Take the shot? More like take a hike! Poor Peter Parker's just gotta put up with their usual antics while meeting Electro for the first time in the latest The Amazing Spider-Man 2 clip.
Like seemingly every year these days, 2014 will see its fair share of super hero films, with the most anticipated possibly being Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Both films had their first trailers debut recently, and now we're seeing more photos arrive online, with this latest batch spotlighting the Winter Soldier, Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Redford as Agent Pierce, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jamie Foxx as Electro and more.
Following a week of grainy pictures of posters, surprise villain appearances and teaser set photos, Sony and Columbia Pictures have released the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. With three villains -- the Rhino, Electro and Green Goblin -- appearing in the film, the trailer had a short amount of time to dedicate to so many adversaries, not to mention the star of the film. But it manages to give time to everyone, while offering at least a hint, if not a really good look, at what each character will look like on screen.

Last week, a few grainy pictures of a triptych promotional poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 popped up online, showing Spider-Man facing off against Electro, The Rhino and Green Goblin. Today, an official image of the poster was revealed via the film's Facebook page. Further, USA Today has a first look at a few promotional stills from the film, featuring the Wall Crawler taking on Electro, pulling a few signature athletic moves, and punching a truck or two. And all of this is the lead in to the likely release of the film's first trailer this week.
You can check out the poster, as well as the early stills, below.

Spider-Man and Electro are nose-to-nose, Mortal Kombat-style, on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly. The magazine, which hits stands Friday, touts a preview of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 set to hit theaters next May. In a quick preview of the preview, director Marc Webb told EW he's much more comfortable now that Spidey's origin story is out of the way.
