At San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, DC announced that writer Grant Morrison has two new projects launching with the publisher in 2016. The first is a sequel to this year's acclaimed Multiversity. Called, of course, Multiversity Too, the new book will take the form of a series of graphic novels throughout next year. For the second project, Morrison will take the lead on a series of Batman: Black and White graphic novels working with various artists.

If yesterday’s Marvel TV panel closed the gap on Comic-Con 2015’s lack of movies, Marvel’s upcoming animation slate might well pave over it. The Batman vs. Superman panel at Comic-Con was one of the most anticipated this year, not just for what we knew was happening — stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot were all confirmed to be in attendance — but also for what we didn’t know what would happen. Warner Bros. promised some “unexpected surprises” in addition to the new Batman vs. Superman footage and fans were camped out for many miles and hours to get a first look at the new DC Movie Universe.

From the Department of Things That We All New Would Happen Eventually, it looks like this is the year that the inevitable finally happens. At Comic-Con International in San Diego, IDW editor-in-chief Chris Ryall announced that ROM and Micronauts will finally be making their long-awaited return in 2016.

20th Century Fox is holding their big Comic-Con 2015 panel tonight, where we’ll likely see new stuff from X-Men: Apocalypse and Fantastic Four. But if you can’t wait until then, you can get your first look at X-Men’s newest villain right now via an official poster that’s circulating around Comic-Con today.

The 27th Annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards took place at the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront San Diego on Friday night, and it was a great night for diversity, for women in comics, for comics aimed at a younger audience, and for the future of the industry.

The Walking Dead Season 5 left us on a relatively safe cliffhanger teasing the reunion of Rick and Morgan, but Season 6 may well bring all the Alexandria walls down. Welcome to the seventh installment of True Blue, our weekly recap of Archie Comics‘ crossover event between the Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man series, “Worlds Unite.” Each installment, we’ll recap the notable moments of the latest chapter in “Worlds Unite” with Archie Action Editor Vincent Lovallo, and take a look at what lies ahead for the next chapter of the crossover event. This week, we're digging even deeper with more details about the future of Archie Action, Mega Man and Sonic Boom straight from San Diego Comic-Con. Previously in "Worlds Unite," our heroes had been searching for Sigma and his hideout, Lost Hex. The group, traveling aboard Sky Patrol, had been searching the area Wily and Eggman directed them to, and were met with swift resistance from Sigma's new robot army. Fortunately, the team of Freedom Fighters and Robot Masters makes short work of the mechanized opposition, but the Deadly Six prove to be a bit more trouble than expected. Even as defeat loomed, the Zeti were able to overcome the odds and take control of Mega Man and his friends to do the fighting for them.
