For Gilad, the Eternal Warrior, dying isn't really the problem. I mean, if we learned nothing else from "Labyrinth," the story about a city-sized collection of deathtraps that found the Eternal Warrior being killed and returning to life around fifteen times, the usual end of all things doesn't really present much of an obstacle. In fact, I'd say that the problem isn't even that, in order to return to life, Gilad has to leave a heavenly afterlife where he's surrounded by his loved ones, even though that can be pretty tough.

No, the big problem is that the last time he did, his first-born son tried to follow him and wound up in the clutches of a demon prince named Humongous. That's a tough one to get around, especially since Gilad's only plan right now is to trade his (after)life for his son's and willingly submit to an eternity of torture. Things are starting to get pretty rough, and in Robert Venditti and Robert Gill's Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #12, it's only going to get worse.
