AvX: ‘Tell Me About The Phoenix’ [Issue #0 Preview]

It’s possible you’ve heard of Avengers Vs. X-Men, the 12-issue event series written by Marvel Comics heavyweights Jason Aaron, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and Jonathan Hickman and drawn by Olivier Coipel, Andy Kubert, and John Romita, Jr. The book is is, according to Marvel, “the biggest comic book event in history.”

We’ve seen loads of teaser material relating to the actual match-ups and we also know something about the spinoff miniseries, AVX: Versus, but until now we knew very little about the story behind the action. On sale in March, Avengers Vs. X-Men #0 sets up that story with a focus on X-Woman Hope Summers. The issue is written by Jason Aaron and Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by Frank Cho, and you can check out a preview below.
