Take A ‘Coffin Break’ In ‘Marceline And The Scream Queens’ #6 Backup [Preview]

It’s always bittersweet when a beloved mini-series wraps up, and Boom! Studios’ Adventure Time: Marceline and the Scream Queens #6 is no exception. Fortunately for fans, the final issue in the mini only amps up the radness with a concluding tale by series writer and artist Meredith Gran and this issue’s backup story by Rich Tommaso. Marceline and her band are hardly The Land of Ooo’s version of Spinal Tap, but as a Vampire Queen, the bass playing protagonist can’t help but incorporate some creepy onstage antics into their set. Leave it to a jealous rival musician to muck up an awesome plan. Typical opening act move! From Boom Studios’ official solicitation info:

Can the Scream Queens rock their crazy-huge biggest gig ever and will Princess Bubblegum finally discover the true meaning of ROCK?

You can check out pages from Marceline and the Scream Queens #6 backup, “Coffin Break,” by Rich Tommaso, plus covers by JAB/Lisa Moore, Brianne Drouhard, Camilla D’Errico, Tommaso and Lucy Knisley below.
